Introduction
The Olympic Stadium Apartment is a lovely apartment at the south side of Amsterdam in the district of Amsterdam-Zuid. This district is close to the city centre but a little bit more exclusive and more peaceful. It is also very close to the city’s new business district de Zuidas and to the Amsterdam RAI convention centre and the World Trade Centre. So whether you are a family on a vacation or on a business trip, this apartment will suit your needs.
Covering 120m2 with two bedrooms, this apartment can host up to 6 guests. The apartment is furnished in a lovely clear style and it is quite spacious. It even has a balcony, something that is rather rare for an apartment in Amsterdam! Interior
In this apartment the living and dining room are connected. The living room is located at the front of the house and is nice and bright. It contains two large faux leather sofas that can be converted into beds. There is also a TV, a DVD player and a free Wi-Fi Internet connection. The adjoined dining room features a wooden dining table that can seat up to 6 people.
The kitchen is fully equipped with of course a stove with 4 gas cookers. It also includes a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a washing machine and a microwave. There is also a toaster, a kettle and a coffee maker, so all the commodities needed are present. The kitchen is quite bright, thanks to a door to the large balcony on the back of the house. The spacious master bedroom has 2 single beds (2x90cmX200cm) with 2 single duvets that are connected into a large double bed. The room is warm and bright, because of the large windows and double doors to the balcony. There is also a large desk with office chair, side tables, lamps and plenty of closet storage. The second bedroom also has 2 single beds (2x90cmX200cm) with 2 single duvets that are connected into a large double bed and is very similar to the master bedroom. Here too, there is a large desk with office chair, side tables and a little bit less closet space. Again, there are large windows and double doors to the balcony. The bathroom is decorated beautifully with marble tiles. It contains a shower, a hairdryer, a toilet and a washbasin. Neighbourhood / Location
The apartment is located south of Leidseplein, at the Amsterveenseweg. This is part of the beautiful Museum Quarter. The Museum Quarter is the part of Amsterdam where one can find some of Amsterdam’s most beautiful and excellent museums, like the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The Amstelveenseweg is very central and is very close to several of the cities most interesting places. The exclusive P.C. Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat shopping streets offer some of the world’s most chic brands.
If you fancy a stroll or a day in the park, the biggest city park of Amsterdam, the Vondelpark, is just minutes away. Other major attractions of Amsterdam like the Anne Frank house, the Royal Palace on the Dam square and the canal belt are easily reached by taking either tramline 5 or 24 for just a few stops!
