The Lairesse is a beautiful, spacious, non-smoking apartment in the most luxurious district of Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Zuid. This district offers some of the best shopping, dining and entertainment to be found in Amsterdam. The apartment is situated very conveniently and everything within the city centre is easy to reach from this location. The apartment is newly renovated and is heated with floor heating, which is especially comfortable in the winter. It apartment will comfortably host up to 6 people and it is perfect for families with children. The apartment itself is grand and elegantly styled with warm tones and subtle colours. A special feat is that it has both a balcony and a most inviting, large garden; hard to come by in Amsterdam but very enjoyable.

The Lairesse apartment will really provide everything you need and more. The living room on the ground floor looks out into the lovely lush garden. The room is decorated in a simple elegant style and contains a comfortable corner sofa, a TV, a DVD and video player, a PlayStation 3 and free wireless Internet. It will be hard to get bored in this apartment! The same room functions as a dining room, so it also has a large, wooden dining table, seating up to 6 people. The ‘king-size’, walk-in kitchen is equipped with 5 gas cookers, an oven, two large refrigerators, an icemaker, a citrus press, coffee and tea making facilities, a toaster, and a microwave. Everything you would need to cook dinner is provided, so you can easily stay home one evening and eat a lovely, home cooked meal.

The spacious master bedroom is located on the garden side of the house, so it is both big as well as quiet. It includes a large bed (200cmx200cm) with 2 single duvets, side tables and of course plenty of storage space. The tiles on the floor create a lovely ambience, but the floor heating will save you from cold feet in the winter.

On the first floor there is a large bathroom with a spacious shower, double hand basins, 2 toilets and for your comfort, a set of towels. The bathroom is designed with natural stone and has a very luxurious feel.

The second bedroom is also on the first floor an includes a single bed and a high double bed (140cmx200cm) with 2 single duvets, a single bed (90cmx200cm) with a single duvet, plenty of storage space and is located at the garden side of the house, so again, it is nice and quiet. It will either host 2 people very comfortably, or three people with still enough room.

The third bedroom includes a double bed (140cmx200cm) with 2 single duvets, plenty of storage space and is located on the garden side of the house.

There is another bathroom is on the first floor. This bathroom contains a bath and shower, two hand basins and a toilet. Here as well, there is a set of towels present.

The apartment is located south of Leidseplein, at the Lairessestraat. This is part of the beautiful Museum Quarter and is located right in the city centre. The Museum Quarter is the part of Amsterdam where one can find some of Amsterdam’s most beautiful and excellent museums, like the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The Lairessestraat is very central and is very close to several of the cities most interesting places. The exclusive P.C. Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat shopping streets offer some of the world’s most chic brands. Other major attractions of Amsterdam like the Anne Frank house, the Royal Palace on the Dam square and the canal belt are easily reached. Tram 16 and busses 142, 145, 170, 172, 370 stop in front of the apartment.
