The Morning Star Residence Apartment is a fantastic example of Dutch history, visualised by the historic architecture of the city centre. Covering 110 m2, this apartment can host up to 2 guests, but an extra baby bed is optional. The living area of this apartment is situated on the first floor. This bright room has beautiful high ceilings and windows. Attached there is a lovely garden view room with a wooden table and seats for 6 persons. At the front of the room you will find a relaxing environment with window seats overlooking the canal. The living room is equipped with all necessary conveniences, like a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi Internet.

The kitchen is to be found on the lower floor, the ground floor. This spacious, fully equipped kitchen is decorated in a beautiful, typical Amsterdam style and the original crossbeams really add to the ambience. The kitchen overlooks the canal and contains a dining table that can seat up to 6 people. It is equipped with a gas stove, an oven and many other kitchen appliances.

On the same floor there is a master bedroom. This is situated at the back of the house and overlooks the romantic garden. It has a large double bed (180x200cm) and a big duvet. There is some, though not a lot, storage space. The room is very elegantly decorated and again the original crossbeams make it a beautiful room.

There is also a luxury bathroom on the ground floor. It contains a bath, a separate shower, two hand basins, a toilet and a bidet. It is decorated with a stunning brown tile mosaic.

Amsterdam’s historic canal belt has recently been added to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites and there is a very good reason for this, as you’ll see when you are at this beautiful apartment. It is located on the ground and first floor of an original 17th-century canal house, ‘In de blinckende Morgenster’, facing the Anne Frank House and Wester Tower. It is located in the famous Jordaan, within the heart of the city and close to major museums, galleries and theatres. Some of Amsterdam's most popular restaurants are within a couple of minutes walk and the Kalverstraat, the main shopping street, is very near. As for more exclusive and quirky stores, it will definitely be worth to pay a visit to the Nine Streets, a couple of interlinked streets with all kinds of shops imaginable. This too, is only a couple of minutes away from this apartment.

If you are fortunate enough to be at this apartment during one of the canal festivities in Amsterdam, be it Queensday or the Prinsengracht concert, you will find yourself on the front row every time.
