Le Grand Prince Apartment is really just a stunning apartment; it is situated on the prestigious Prinsengracht and it has beautiful view of the canals and one of Amsterdam’s most picturesque squares: the Amstelveld. This authentic canal house in a peaceful and quiet family neighbourhood, and therefore not suitable for party people! It is located in the middle of the centre, in the Canal Belt. This is the ring of canals making up the city’s centre and this is also the place where most of the attractions, shops and restaurants are situated. Covering 190m2 over three floors this apartment can host up to 4 adults and 5 children (older then 12 years) and is really very spacious! Children half price!

The apartment is furnished in a stylish way, with dark, wooden floors, white walls and big windows. It is just a really comfortable apartment and a very stylish one at that.

The living room and dining area are joined and are situated on the third floor. The room is decorated with impressive canvasses of well-known Amsterdam artist Aat den Ouden, giving it a very warm and smart ambience. This is added to by the large, open, working fireplace. There is a very comfortable sofa and two lounge chairs; these are placed near the window where you’ll have a lovely view of the Amstelveld. The room also contains a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a free Wi-Fi Internet connection. There is also a dark wooden dining table that can seat 8 people. The open kitchen is fully equipped and it contains a stove with 4 gas cookers, a toaster, a kettle and a coffeemaker. It also includes a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven and a microwave. It contains all the conveniences you might need. There is a separate toilet in the hall.

The master bedroom is situated on the third floor. This room is spacious and very bright. The decoration is in simple white colour scheme and the original crossbeams give it a very authentic look. It has a double bed (180 X 200cm) with 1 large lovely duvet, sidetables, lamps and quite enough closet storage. There is even a glamorous en-suite bathroom. This pearl of luxury contains a Jacuzzi bathtub, a separate shower, a hairdryer, two washbasins, a toilet and a bidet.

The second bedroom is also located on the third floor. This bedroom has double bed (180X200cm) with 1 large duvet and is again in a very authentic style with the original crossbeams. The room also contains a TV, bedside tables and some closet space. The second en-suite bathroom has a shower, a washing machine and even a dryer. There is a separate toilet on this floor in the hall.

On the fourth floor there is a big loft bedroom. This room contains 3 single beds (3 X 90cm X 200cm) with 3 single duvets and a double bed (180cm X 200cm) with 1 large duvet. Although there is no closet space, the loft is quite large and there is enough space to put any luggage. The loft also has its own shower and washbasin.

This apartment is really in the middle of everything. It is located within the heart of the city and is close to the Museum Quarter. There you will find, amongst others, the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The historic Anne Frank House and the Rembrandt House are not far away either. The apartment is only minutes away from the popular Utrechtse Straat with its trendy, individual shops, bars and restaurants. The Rembrandt Square area is also well known for its upstanding nightclubs and terrace bars. Scenic locations can be found at the Amstel River and the world famous Carré theatre. Tramline 4 (stop: Prinsengracht), from and to Central Station, will stop within a one-minute walk from the apartment. In general it is a very authentic neighbourhood and a lovely place to spend your time in Amsterdam.
